NEW Modern Luxury from Celebrity
By Judy and Sam Warsaw
The ship is absolutely gorgeous - utilizing the talents of a world renowned interior designer I believe really paid off.
The state of the art technology which I cynically thought would be simply fluff turned out to be pretty cool. Even the special app Celebrity had created for Edge using virtual technology allowed me to learn about the various venues as I visited them.
Between the “Magic Carpet” which has a bar and serves several functions depending on it’s deck location and “Eden,” just to name a few areas to lounge, this ship provides so many distinctly different vibrant places to either hide and read or drink and socialize, that every day we experienced a different environment.
While Solstice Class provided an exciting new version of luxury big ship cruising to its fleet, The Edge has taken it to a whole new level.
From its 2-level suites to “Infinite Verandas,” with the creation of Celebrity Edge, the premium cruise line has moved beyond its competition to truly stand out. In order to really appreciate additions such as the “Magic Carpet,” Eden and the “Rooftop Garden,” cruisers need to experience a 7 night eastern or western Caribbean cruise aboard the brand new Edge sailing weekly from its own (also new) cruise terminal in Port Everglades.
